About me
Welcome to Heather Horning Pottery — where handmade is the new luxury.
I’m Heather, the artist and maker behind every ceramic piece you’ll find here. What began as a small collection of pottery overflowing from my shelves at home quickly grew into a deeply meaningful creative practice centered around slow craftsmanship, intentional design, and the beauty of handmade objects.
In a world of mass production, I believe there is something truly special about owning pieces made by artisans, with character, texture, and soul. Every mug, bowl, and sculptural piece is thoughtfully handcrafted in my studio in La Quinta, California, embracing the natural variations and imperfections that make handmade ceramics so unique. No two pieces are ever exactly alike.
I love creating ceramics that feel both functional and artful, pieces that can be used daily while still feeling special enough to display. Many of my pieces feature thoughtful details, organic textures, and floral elements inspired by nature. Whether it’s your morning coffee mug, a decorative bowl, or a sculptural floral piece, I hope my pottery brings warmth, beauty, and intention into your daily rituals.
Thank you so much for being here and supporting small business. I hope you find a piece that speaks to you and becomes part of your home for years to come.
